What we did in 2021for the assurance of our quality
As you probably know, Kraaijeveld has been certified according to various quality and food safety schemes for several years. We do this to ensure that we deliver a food-safe product. In addition, our quality department has intensive daily contact with our customers, suppliers, and knowledge holders in the chain to guarantee the quality of the product and process. All of this has ensured that we have achieved the following things in the past year!
FSSC 22000 achieved in March
At the end of 2020, we prepared ourselves for the audit in early 2021 according to the FSSC 22000 quality management scheme. We were awarded the certificate on March 8, 2021.

We also received the latest IFS certification
We were previously IFS Food certified, but this expired in March 2021. We chose to change the IFS certification to IFS Wholesale Cash & Carry. The IFS Wholesale Cash & Carry fits much better with the business activities of Kraaijeveld, certainly in combination with FSSC 22000.
Are you aware of the Sustainable Development Goals?
Well, we are! These goals are set by the United Nations. Some time ago, the European Commission launched an ambitious plan to make food production greener (this is called the Farm to Fork program), in which we will also participate. With this, we will focus in particular on goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and production) and goal 13 (Climate Action).
Have you ever heard of Spring?
Spring is an additional certification from Global GAP, intended for farms operating in water-risk areas. This assessment was already available before, but various parties at the end of the chain are now including it in their delivery requirements from the summer of 2022. We ensure, that if this applies to your product, you will be informed about this well in advance. Our clients and suppliers will then comply with the market requirements.
