January 12, 2021, Maasland - We start the year 2021 healthy and fresh. Lots of products
are arriving fresh, and seasons are about to begin. Time for a market update! With news this time about mandarins, oranges and last but not least: our Mike's Melons.

Mike's Melons from Honduras

Friday, January 15th is the day! We expect to unload the first Honduran melons from Mike's Melons brand. We start with the Galia melons, followed by the Cantaloupe and Charantais melons in week 4. Yellow melons are expected in early March. The season lasts until May.

The 2021 season starts a bit later than usual. This is because Honduras had to contend with heavy rainfall at the end of 2020. Due to the weather conditions, the first harvests had to contend with quality problems, which meant that these melons were not exported to Europe.

Mike's Melons is known for its long shelf life, reliable quality, and favorable price. A must-have for every fruit trader! Kraaijeveld has been working with Mike's Melons for years. Watch more in our video, made in collaboration with the Honduran brand. Also, read more about Mike's Melons in our article.

Orri Mandarins from Israel

More product news: we will receive Orri mandarins from Israel on Friday, January 15th (week 2). These sweet and juicy mandarins are of top quality. The mandarins are somewhat flatter than other varieties and have a limited acreage, which means that not every country can grow these mandarins. Instead, Israel can do this!

The Orri mandarins arrive right on time: the season of the Spanish mandarins is almost over in terms of quality. The Moroccan Nadorcott mandarins are getting stronger in terms of quality.

We receive the Orri mandarins every week, in sizes 1X and 1XX in 10KG. Pre-order them now
by contacting our colleagues or order them in the webshop.

Valencia juice oranges from Egypt

Do you remember the juice oranges from Egypt? Last year you probably squeezed our oranges from the Pyramids brand, and you found out that there was a lot of juice in them, and they tasted fresh. We have good news: on January 21st (week 3) we expect the first new Valencias from Egypt! Every week we get fresh Valencias arrivals. Of course, there are various packaging options. The melons are certified with Global GAP, ISO22000, and Sedex, among other certificates.
